Art played a tremendous role in regards to exploring my sexual identity as a queer artist.  I like playing with erotic situations, sometimes soft, sometimes not so subtle, always trying to hide enough to give the mind something to wonder. I aim to arouse the imagination of the viewer by incorporating a bit of playfulness, humor but most importantly chemistry between my subjects; hoping to send them dreaming, and giving them a chance to escape from the daily worries of life. Even if it's just for a second.

Lost & Found is a passion project of mine which is an online choose your own adventure style game. It takes place in the near future and follows the story of a kidnapped person who finds themself tangled up illegal human organ trafficking, thus revealing the secrets of a city they once thought they knew. The game is aiming to converge dark and witty humor with real-life situations to truly propel the player into a state of terror and test their decision making. As with everything I do I aim to create an experience where the participant feels entertained but more importantly walk away from it knowing more about themself.

UNESCO considers the intentional destruction of cultural heritage a war crime, but ISIS has been known to ostentatiously do just that. The group considers representational art idolatrous, and as a result, works of art at museums, mosques, and churches have become targets of its hammers, axes, bulldozers, and bombs.

I believe the emergence of 3D printing technology is going to play a key role in restoring the destroyed sites of the ancient world. After getting the required training, at some point in my life, I would love to put together a team of artists and historians to create digital versions of what has been lost so they can never be taken away again.

Most people fail to realize that the reason why we as humans keep making the same mistakes over and over again is that we don't get properly educated about our past and its consequences.

This isn't anything new considering the library of Alexander the Great was also set on fire by extremists, and scientists today estimate that the loss of all the accumulated knowledge has cost us around 1,500 years of advancing.  Let me put this in context using a quote:

Antibiotics are compounds produced by bacteria and fungi which are capable of killing, or inhibiting, competing for microbial species. This phenomenon has long been known; it may explain why the ancient Egyptians had the practice of applying a poultice of moldy bread to infected wounds. But it was not until 1928 that penicillin, the first true antibiotic, was discovered by Alexander Fleming, Professor of Bacteriology at St. Mary's Hospital in London

- Royal Society of Chemistry 1999

In the grand scheme of things this gap of knowledge is only a speck of what has been lost, and yet probably cost the lives of thousands of people resulting in an innumerable amount of unnecessary suffering. Imagine all the lives that could have been saved if all of these kinds of accumulated knowledge were preserved and passed on properly.

As I have said previously, I believe that 3D technology combined with the emergence of VR can truly revolutionize the world as we know it and I am so excited to see where it goes and to hopefully be a part of it.

It's imperative to understand that destroyers only win when builders stop building!
